Quicktip: iCloud Backup

It’s Friday which means it’s time for TJ’s Quicktip! Each week I will show you a tip or trick within Mac OS X or iOS, this week I take a look at iCloud Backup.

iCloud comes with 5GB of storage space which will be more than adequate for the vast majority of users. You only need to backup items such as your camera roll and any app data to iCloud to count towards your storage usage. Any music, video and apps can be synced over from iTunes or downloaded direct from your iTunes account. Mail, contacts, calendar, reminders and Safari bookmarks are all synced to iCloud during normal use so these will automatically download to your iOS device when you login with your iCloud password.
