Amazon Prime is set to go on sale for $73. As Amazon Prime Membership drops to $73, I will show you how to get Amazon Prime for $73 instead of $100 and some hidden benefits of the prime subscription. I also have a link to a free 30 day trial if you prefer to not sign up. We have a review of Amazon Prime Streaming, and Amazon Instant Video too.

Is Amazon Prime Worth It? From streaming to savings, deals and discounts, I have you covered. In this video I cover the features, benefits, price, and value of Amazon Prime. If you are wondering if prime is worth it for movies or music or kindle books or just for the shipping benefits – check out this amazon prime review video.

Other than free two day shipping on many items sold by Amazon.com, here are six lesser known perks of Prime.
Prime Members enjoy:

– Free Access To Amazon Music: The music service features over a million songs with unlimited playlists that can be downloaded to devices, just as though you’d purchased the song from iTunes or a competing platform.

– Free Prime radio stations: Similar to a membership that would otherwise cost you $10 per month from Spotify Premium or a paid version of Pandora, this ad-free assortment of stations is a nice perk.

– Free Unlimited Photo Storage: Prime members get free access to Amazon Cloud Drive to store an unlimited number of photos.

– Special Sale Access: Members get 30 minute early bird access to special Amazon sales, lightning deals and additional designer sales from MyHabit.com

– More Than 800,000 Free E-books: Subscribers get access to this huge assortment of books as well as the option to borrow one book per month on many titles from the New York Times best-seller list.

– Unlimited movies and tv shows now with offline viewing: Amazon just announced you can download many Prime-eligible movies and TV shows for playback without an internet connection. This option is currently absent from its competitor Netflix. While Amazon’s collection boasts thousands of movies and TV shows, as well as original content, it is not as impressive as Netflix (in my opinion) but growing every day.

Amazon will drop the price of a Prime membership to $73, down from $99, this weekend.

The reduction is to celebrate Amazon winning two Golden Globe awards for its series Mozart in the Jungle.

The promotion will run from 9 PM Pacific time Friday through 11:59 local time Sunday night, the company said.

Amazon is also allowing anyone to stream both the first and second seasons of the series for free over the weekend.

Amazon, fresh off Globes wins, plots new series

Amazon Prime offers free two-day shipping on millions of items purchased through its website, as well as free access to services including Amazon Video and Amazon Music.

Mozart in the Jungle is a comedic drama set in the New York classical music scene.

The series won the 2016 Golden Globe award for best musical or comedy series. Its lead star, Gael García Bernal, won for best actor in a musical or comedy series.

Given for excellence in film and television, the Golden Globes are awarded by the Hollywood Foreign Press Association. This was the 73rd annual award, hence the $73 price tag.

This isn’t the first time Amazon has offered a special Prime price to celebrate winning awards for its programming. In September, it made Prime memberships available for $67 when it won five Emmys for its show Transparent in the 67th annual Emmys.
